Our Story
Four Decades on the Road
From a single truck in Puente Tocinos to a fleet travelling throughout Spain. This is the story of Transportes El Gallego and the family behind it.
The Beginning
It all started with...
Transportes El Gallego was founded by Antonio Fernández Morán in the early 1980s, providing local transport services for residents and businesses in Puente Tocinos. By the end of that decade, he had begun working regularly for Liwe Española, one of the leading textile companies in the area, which became one of the company’s key clients.
The Next Generation
His son, José Antonio, joined the family business in the late 1980s. In 1991, he took a break to complete his military service and, once finished, returned to work alongside his father. In 1995, he took the step of becoming a self-employed haulier, continuing to work side by side with Antonio.
In 1998, when Antonio retired, José Antonio took over the company. Since then, he has continued to expand the fleet and diversify the client base, while always preserving the family spirit with which his father started the business.
